WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced that Louisiana will receive a total of $5,985,086.00 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The federal funding will go towards the elevation of 30 properties in Livingston Parish.

“In Louisiana, preparing for the next storm is always on the minds of our communities,” said Dr. Cassidy. “This grant will give families in Livingston Parish piece of mind that their risk of flooding will be significantly reduced.”
