The Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry has announced the adoption of a new rule through its Horticulture Commission. The rule involves amendments and additions to sections LAC 7:XV.126 and LAC 7:XXIX.102, 107, 109, 113, 115, 117, and 119.
The process began with a Notice of Intent submitted to the Louisiana State Register. This notice was made public in the Louisiana Register on October 20, 2024, as documented in LR 50:10 on pages 1507-1510.
The final adoption of the proposed rule took place on January 20, 2024.
