Make Way for professional headshots

UPDATE: Aug. 11 is fully booked. Check future issues of Tulane Today for the September headshot photography day.

Still using your senior yearbook photo for your social media headshot?

The photo department in the Office of University Communications and  Marketing is now offering free, professional studio headshots to  full-time Tulane faculty and staff, by appointment only, on one day each  month in Suite 220 at University Square.

Appointments are currently being scheduled for Thursday, August 11, on a first-come, first-serve basis. Photo sessions are scheduled through Picktime.  Each 10-minute session produces 3-5 images accessible from a Tulane Box  folder. The images can be used for professional or personal profiles.

Not sure what to wear to your photo session? Here are suggestions for a successful shoot:

  • Choose medium-to-dark solid colors.
  • Small prints or plaid is fine.
  • Please do not wear white or very light-colored clothing.
  • Large, bold prints and big plaids and stripes are not recommended.
  • Exposed shoulders are not recommended.
Because of tight scheduling, latecomers may not be accommodated and will need to be rescheduled for a future date.

If you have questions or concerns, please include them in the Booking Notes when you schedule your appointment. Once your appointment is scheduled, you should receive a confirmation email from Picktime. If you don't receive it, please check your spam/junk folder.

University Square is located at 200 Broadway at Leake Avenue; parking  is free. Information about Tulane shuttle service to University Square can be found here.
