Blezzin Kimutai also delivered a record-breaking performance with her third-place finish in the women’s 10,000 meters, clocking a time of 33:28.25.
Other notable finishes included Tommy Rice placing sixth in the men’s 10,000 meters with a time of 29:12.80 and Rogerio Amaral finishing twenty-first at 29:10.35 in the same event. In women’s steeplechase action, Alex Sharp ran a time of 10:36.30 for forty-fifth place while Allison Hall improved her position on Tulane’s all-time list to seventh after running a personal best of 10:49.69 and finishing seventy-fifth.
