A woman from St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, has been indicted on federal drug charges for allegedly possessing with intent to distribute more than fifty grams of methamphetamine. The indictment was announced by Acting United States Attorney Michael M. Simpson.
Court documents state that Sherida Graham, 57, was found in possession of the drugs on June 17, 2025, within the Eastern District of Louisiana. She faces charges under Title 21 of the United States Code.
If convicted, Graham could receive a minimum sentence of ten years and up to life in prison. She also faces a possible fine of up to $10 million and at least five years of supervised release after any term of imprisonment. Additionally, there is a mandatory special assessment fee of $100.
Acting U.S. Attorney Simpson emphasized: “The indictment is merely a charging document and that the guilt of the defendant must be proven beyond a reasonable doubt.”
