The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to 73 complaints and made several arrests on April 15, according to Sheriff Gary Driskell.

The sheriff’s office said Gilmer Perez-Hernandez, age 23 of Morgan City, was arrested at 10:03 p.m. He faces charges including driving on a roadway laned for traffic, open container, driving while intoxicated, and driving without a license. Bail had not been set at the time of the report.

Jermaine Dynell Harrison, age 27 of Morgan City, was arrested earlier that day at 4:24 p.m. Harrison is charged with criminal neglect of family and was also wanted on a warrant for failure to appear on charges including speeding, no child restraint, and operating a vehicle while his license was suspended or revoked. Bail for Harrison had not been set as of the report.

Patrick Leo Bourque, age 44 of Amelia, was arrested at 4:48 p.m., also charged with criminal neglect of family. His bail status remained pending.
