The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office announced on May 6 a series of recent arrests for various offenses, including domestic abuse battery, theft, and disturbing the peace.
These incidents are important to the community as they involve public safety concerns such as violence, property crime, and disturbances in residential areas.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Christopher Rowland was arrested on May 5 in Luling after deputies responded to a disturbance between two males. Rowland allegedly struck another male and fled but was later located and taken into custody. In a separate incident also on May 5, John Brignac Jr. was apprehended for theft after video surveillance showed him taking items from Social Concerns property on two occasions.
Shelly Richard was arrested for simple battery related to an outstanding warrant from an earlier incident in Boutte. Gabrielle Hudson was taken into custody for domestic abuse battery involving strangulation and child endangerment following a reported disturbance with a male at her residence in Destrehan.
Other arrests included Kim Fonseca for causing a disturbance while intoxicated in Des Allemands; Ronald Triggs for appearing intoxicated during a dispute; Fred Tamborella for theft involving stolen property found inside his vehicle; Roland Simmons on an outstanding warrant related to simple battery; Faron Lovell for battery of a dating partner resulting in minor injury; and Michael White, who was accused of damaging property with off-road vehicles at Destrehan High School.
The Sheriff’s Office asks anyone with information about these incidents to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-877-903-STOP. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for up to $2,500 reward.
