Representative Steve Scalise (R-LA) has represented Louisiana’s 1st District in the House of Representatives since 2008. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1965, Rep. Scalise served for four months in the Louisiana State Senate and twelve years in the Louisiana House of Representatives. Rep. Scalise was educated at Louisiana State University and is married to Jennifer Letulle.
He serves on the Committee on Energy and Commerce.
