Agents with Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Louisiana Bureau of Investigation arrested a Lafayette man on April 16 for multiple counts related to child sexual abuse material under the age of thirteen.

Warren L. Frank, age 68, was taken into custody at his residence on Knollwood Drive in Lafayette. He faces 13 felony counts under statute 14:81.1 E(5)(a) for alleged possession or distribution of child sexual abuse material involving victims younger than thirteen years old. Agents said they began their investigation after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The operation was a joint effort between the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation and Homeland Security Investigations.
Frank was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center with bond reportedly set at $100,000. Authorities said that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty, and that the investigation is ongoing.
