The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from the public on May 21 in locating a wanted individual, according to an official announcement.

Authorities are searching for Thibodeaux, described as a 44-year-old white female, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing about 140 pounds. She is known to frequent the St. Landry community area and may also travel to Avoyelles Parish.

The sheriff’s office urges anyone with information about Thibodeaux’s whereabouts to contact them at 337-363-261 or submit a tip through their website at www.evangelineparishsheriff.org. Officials said that all information provided will remain anonymous.

“All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law,” the statement said.

This request highlights ongoing efforts by local law enforcement agencies to involve the community in resolving open cases and maintaining public safety.
